I have dedicated over two decades to the field of wildlife conservation, with a particular focus on Asian elephants. As an active member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature’s (IUCN) Asian Elephant Specialist Group and the Project Manager at the Biodiversity and Elephant Conservation Trust (BECT), my work revolves around mitigating human-elephant conflicts and promoting sustainable conservation efforts. I have played a crucial role in managing projects that foster coexistence between local communities and wildlife, helping to protect elephants and their habitats.
